Under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), Transition Services are a protected right for students age 16 and older who qualify for Special Education.

These services include assessment, planning, and the development of an Individual Transition Plan (ITP) as part of a Free Appropriate Public Education (FAPE).

Yet when high school ends, many of these supports fall away, leaving young adults and their families without structure at one of life’s most pivotal transitions.

Celo Learning is committed to helping young people across California pursue meaningful pathways in education, employment, community participation, and independent living.

Through individualized services, professional learning, community education and partnerships, we work to promote smoother transitions and improve access to opportunities that support long-term quality of life.

Celo Learning’s Signature Program provides private transition services for young adults, supporting the move from school to career and into independent, meaningful adulthood.

Every young adult, whether or not they have an IEP, 504 Plan, or formal diagnosis, deserves the tools to thrive. Using evidence-based approaches, including the UCLA PEERS® social skills framework, we help students build confidence, strengthen resilience, and take meaningful steps toward their goals in education, work, and life.
